Housing Wait List

Tenant selection is on their position on the wait list. Applicants with unique situations may secure special priority placement status for the wait list.

The wait list length depends on the community. The wait for housing can be as long as several years in some communities. In other communities, the chance for occupancy can be immediate. KDSB makes an offer of housing when a unit is vacant.

The KDSB complies with the Ontario Human Rights Code and provides inclusive and accessible community housing services.
