The Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) has released its 2025 Annual Report, providing a look back at the year’s growth, highlights, accomplishments and progress made.
The report showcases KDSB’s effective board governance and organizational structure, features inspiring program highlights from all departments, and presents a Strategic Plan Goals Scorecard that reflects the organization’s successful objectives and performance measures, along with the many achievements of 2025.
“The 2025 annual report highlights the work undertaken throughout 2025 in supporting individuals, families, and communities across the Kenora District. This past year, the KDSB has continued to demonstrate outstanding performance by embracing innovation, optimizing operational efficiency, and proactively achieving strategic goals,” says Fred Mota, Board Chair, KDSB.

Navigating the complexities of organizational growth has required extraordinary team collaboration and agility, we are grateful to our staff for rising to each opportunity as it presented itself. - Objectives & Performance Measures
- Social Assistance Transformation
- Significant growth in Early Years
- 11 community programs received funding to support youth through the Child Poverty Reduction Reinvestment Fund, District-wide
- Completion of Miikana Ridge, a 56-unit Seniors Complex in Kenora
- A 14% increase in staffing complement due to organizational expansion
- 50 staff recognized in 2025 for Years of Service ranging from 5 years to 30 years
