Call for Expression of Interest
Providers for Licensed Private Home Child Care
The Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) invites the submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) from unlicensed Private Home Child Care Providers to become Licensed Private Home Child Care Providers under the Ministry of Education in partnership with the Kenora District Services Board.
The intent is to gather baseline evidence of private unlicensed home child care operators and their interest in becoming licensed private home child care operators.
Benefits to becoming a licensed child care operator include access to provincial and federal funding supports and early years professional development opportunities, including through the Kenora District Services Board. Benefits to children and families include eligibility for child care fee reductions, and working towards the CWELCC’s identified goal of $10.00 per day child care, and supporting families in accessing equitable, high-quality, and affordable child care.
Submit an Expression of Interest on or before Friday, August 26, 2022 at 4:30pm by completing the Home Child Care Program Form.
