KDSB Early Learning Centre & Office Closure

Please note that all KDSB Early Learning Centres in Kenora will be closed on Friday, September 29, 2023, in lieu of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Additionally, please note that our administrative offices will be closed on Monday, October 2, 2023, in lieu of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. All KDSB Early Learning Centres remain open.

KDSB to assume direct delivery of Child Care spaces and services offered at 54 Princess Street in Sioux Lookout

The Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) and Waninawakang Aboriginal Head Start are pleased to advise that the Kenora District Services Board will be operating the child care spaces at 54 Princess Street, in Sioux Lookout effective, September 1, 2023.

Licensed Early Learning and Care Programs Waitlist

The Kenora District Services Board Licensed Early Learning and Care Programs has opened its electronic Wait List Intake Form for child care spaces in communities across the Kenora District.

Connecting the Kenora District – Round 2

The Connecting the Kenora District rebate program will provide Starlink customers with a rebate to anyone who has a permanent residence (rent or own) within the Kenora District Townships and Municipalities or Federal Land and who has purchased or pre-ordered a Starlink kit on or after September 1, 2022.

Education Cost Recovery Program for Primary Care Paramedics

Are you a 2023 Paramedic School Graduate? The Kenora District Services Board’s (KDSB) Northwest EMS is offering an education cost recovery program for new Northwest EMS recruits.

The education cost recovery program offers up to $4,000 back per year for two years to assist in the repayment of tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
