KDSB Northwest Emergency Medical Services recognizes 2024 Paramedic Services Week

Paramedic Services Week is May 19 – May 25. This year’s theme, ‘Help Us, Help You,’ highlights the many ways that paramedic services help people, from providing emergency care for the critically ill and injured to the more contemporary proactive role of paramedic services as part of a greater health system.

Dryden Seniors Housing Complex – Newsletter Sign Up

The KDSB looks forward to providing purpose-built housing that provides accessible living and opportunities for improved social connections for the 40 new senior and elder tenants. Child Care Expansion in the City of Kenora – KDSB and Seven Generations Education Institute sign Agreement

An exciting development will take place in the City of Kenora. As part of the Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) and the province’s plan to create 1,004 new Child Care spaces across the District over the next four years, the KDSB and Seven Generations Education Institute (SGEI) have entered into a lease agreement for on-site campus space that will support the creation of 49 new Child Care spaces. KDSB’s Child Care Direct Delivery Team will operate the Centre on campus.

Licensed Early Learning and Care Programs Waitlist

The Kenora District Services Board Licensed Early Learning and Care Programs has opened its electronic Wait List Intake Form for child care spaces in communities across the Kenora District.

Education Cost Recovery Program for Primary Care Paramedics

Are you a Paramedic School Graduate within the past 2 years? The Kenora District Services Board’s (KDSB) Northwest EMS is offering an education cost recovery program for new Northwest EMS recruits.

The education cost recovery program offers up to $4,000 back per year for two years to assist in the repayment of tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
